UnBarred Birthday Beer Trail Weekend
26th & 27th AUGUST
Finally free of Covid restrictions, we are at last able to celebrate our birthday since we laid roots at our home on Elder Place in 2019! To do so and make up for lost time we’re going BIG, taking over the Taps of 6 of the best craft beer pubs in Brighton for our ‘UnBarred Birthday Beer Trail’.
All within walking distance we encourage you to have fun supporting our local hospitality businesses by having a delicious pint (or half!) of UnBarred beer and collecting stamps to exchange for prizes* at the final destination, our Taproom!
Starting at The Good Companions the ‘UnBarred Birthday Beer Trail’ will take you to Easy Tiger, The Quadrant, Star & Garter, William IV and The Pond before finishing at our Taproom where there will be open fired cooking courtesy of coal kings ‘Herb Kitchen’, local charcuterie from ‘Rebel Kitchen’, DJ’s and of course a line-up of delicious beers.
As well as all the birthday merriment you’d expect to find at a party such as cakes, hats, balloons and bunting - watch out for a very special gluten free Birthday Beer ‘Skelter’, currently being brewed for the event, available in all participating venues over the weekend before its release further afield…
You can collect your trail cards from any participating pub or download from the link below. Once stamped, visit the Taproom with your trail card to claim your prizes:
2 Stamps: Pint of UnBarred beer.
4 Stamps: UnBarred glass & pint UnBarred beer.
6 Stamps: Limited edition ‘Skelter’ Tee, UnBarred glass and pint of UnBarred beer.

Friday 26th August
We’ll ease into the Birthday weekend with a ‘Toads’ competition, hosted by the lovely guys from the ‘Over Two Cans’ Podcast in the Taproom!
All participating pubs will also have our Beers on from today if you wanted to get ahead of the game and start collecting those stamps!
Saturday 27th August
The big day has arrived! Join us in visiting our favourite pubs on the ‘UnBarred Birthday Beer Trail’, collect your stamps and head to the Taproom to claim your prize and party!
