Goodbye 2020... Whats happening 2021?

Well, it’s been emotional right? It has been trying but it hasn’t been all doom and gloom thanks to you! Without your support we wouldn’t be able to do what we love!
 
With that in mind, we wanted to take this opportunity to reflect back on some of our milestones of a year like none before it.
 
We released the best white stout in the UK on Untappd with our good friends Staggeringly Good, the Dip Le Donut. 
 
Having to evolve how we work in lockdown, we did our first virtual collab, Cherry Berry, with our mates over at Brew York which hit the top 15 fruited sours on Untappd!
 
The UnBarred team has grown, we have doubled our brewing capacity and got our canning line up and running. This has enabled us to export to Japan, Netherlands and France for the first time. We changed from 60% in keg to less than 10% with more canned than ever before.
 
Our Salted Caramel Chocolate Donut stout cracked the top 12 on Untappd which was a real labour of love and great to hear about your love for it!

We collaborated with local artist Will Blood on this year’s Single Hop Single fruit series, brought back the ever-popular Granola NEIPA, finally canned Joosy and started our NEIPA series.

And lastly, we welcomed back the untamed beast, Stoutzilla for its fourth iteration, bigger, mightier and tastier than ever!

What's to come in 2021

No Rules Brewing. Made of Brighton. Anti Ordinary.

We want to take our core principles and grow them in 2021. From pushing boundaries, creating classic beer styles that aren’t as common in the UK market to our take on Belgium styles, it’s going to be a big year. 
 
We will continue to show an expression of flavour through our beers, no matter how we are affected by tier restrictions.
 
We are getting the New Year off to an indulgent start with the much demanded return of Salted Caramel Chocolate Donut stout, just in time to get the beer rolling for Tryanuary!
 
We have also been working with a wide range of English fruit producers, working in season fruits, pasteurized and processed right here in Brighton to produce the best beers we can.

Don't miss out on our next step in to the world of sours. Berry Sour, coming in at 6.5% and full of Cherry, Blackberry, Raspberry and Blueberry which we can’t wait for you to try!
 
We will be bringing back some of your favourites, like the return on our IPA and many more, whilst diversifying what we do though more collaborations with UK and worldwide breweries, and introducing new styles to our repertoire! (Did someone say Barrel aging)!
