Position – Sales Manager

Responsibilities: Build new relationships, continue to develop our current relationships with independent beer retailers (on and off trade) 

Location: Flexible, 3 days in the field with customers, 1-2 days pw in Brighton 

Salary: OTE £30,000 to £32,000 + 25% on target annual bonus

We work with local artists, and creatives to showcase the culture & innovation of our hometown.

Since establishing our own brewery in the heart of Brighton 2 years ago, we’ve grown sales fourfold, invested in doubling our brewing capacity, and are looking for the right salesperson to join our team and grow with us long term. We have ambitious plans, whilst remaining an independent microbrewery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with the operating board to develop UnBarred’s sales strategy
  • Driving brand awareness of UnBarred, able to build and maintain strong relationships within craft beer On and Off Trade
  • Grow distribution of UnBarred with key wholesale partners, the On Trade and Off Trade
  • Support the wider brand and business, working closely and collaboratively with marketing, production, logistics and finance
  • Able to plan ahead, as well as managing your own time and working independently
  • Managing sales and margins, reporting, sales projections and stock management
  • Supporting Trade events, hosting events and representing UnBarred

Experience:

  • At least 1 year’s sales experience in UK Craft Beer, within field sales
  • Passionate about craft beer
  • A good understanding of the craft beer trade with existing networks
  • Great communication skills with ability to work across different part of the business
  • Able to work under pressure, demonstrating a can-do attitude in a fast-growing business
  • Strong administrative skills
  • The ability to negotiate whilst building strong long term relationships
  • Numeracy and literacy skills, together with proficiency on IT and systems
